The NAGRA CLASSIC PSU is Nagra’s latest power supply for the Classic range of products. It is the result of the R&D work conducted during the design of the world-acclaimed HD PREAMP.

Nagra’s engineers have taken as a starting point the critically acclaimed Nagra JAZZ preamplifier and, incorporating elements of the design philosophy that characterises the HD DAC, have created a preamplifier that delivers even more performance and musicality for an exceptional listening experience.

Based on the acclaimed design of the Nagra CLASSIC AMP, this is a powerful integrated amplifier capable of driving the great majority of speakers on the market whilst delivering exceptional musicality.

The power amp section is identical to that of the esteemed Nagra CLASSIC AMP, whereas the preamplifier section is an entirely original design by Nagra R&D that sets a new standard for an integrated amplifier.

The Nagra CLASSIC AMP was designed for extremely high quality installations, which require high power while maintaining a perfect musical delivery of the Watts.
The unit operates in pure class A over a very large power band and beyond in class AB. Each of the output stages is based on tandem MOSFET transistors of exceptional characteristics.

The VFS and CLASSIC VFS (for AMP and for Source) both consist of two base plates, placed one above the other, designed to eliminate mechanical vibration causing noise in other elements of the system, in particular the highly sensitive preamplifiers.

The integrated Nagra 300i and 300p power amplifier are not only a homage to one of the most mythical components in audio history, but is also Nagras’ way of underlining its attachment to his timeless creation on the occasion of its 60th anniversary year.
